In 1977 graduated in the 2rd Medical Faculty of the Charles University, followed by attestation 1st (1981) and 2nd grade (1984) in ENT. Since 1977 physician in the Motol Faculty Hospital in Prague, 1996 thru 2000 Executive Director for Medical Care in the same hospital. Attested in public health care in 2000. From 2000 till 2006 in the position of the Director of the Division for Medical Care in the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. In 2006 graduated MBA in the University of Economics.

Martin Pšenica, Dipl. Ing.
IT Manager of the Transplantations Coordinating Centre (KST)
Graduated in automation systems at the Military Academy in Brno(1992). 1992 to 1997 holding the position of System Administrator of Military Information and Communication Systems in the Computing Centre of the Czech Air Force, with authority for the entire Czech Republic. In 1997 to 2003 at the Air Force Command as the Head of Planning and Building Operation-Tactic Systems in Sites of Command. Working for KST since 2004.

Helena Pekařová

Apprentice Certificate of dressmaker, A-level at secondary school specialized in textiles and clothing (1998). Assistant is responsible for secretarial and administrative background of KST. Working for KST since 2004.

Lucie Baudyšová
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Secondary Medical School finished in 1994 in Decin, specialized in general nursing care. In 2003 started attending the High Medical School in Kladno, graduated as intensive care senior nurse in June 2005. Practical experience gained at emergency ward in Ceska Lipa Regional Hospital, followed by Anesthesiology Dept. of the Motol Faculty Hospital in Prague. In KST since 2007.

Dana Zappová
National Coordinator for Organ & Tissue Transplantations
In 1992 completed secondary education in printing at Graphics Secondary School, supplemented by follow-up studies of general nursing at Secondary Medical School, finished in 1995. Employed with the Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion in Prague, working at post-op department, transplantation ward and intensive care unit. Since 2002 in the position of deputy-chief ward nurse. Extended her specialization in a follow-up anestesiology and intensive care course as well as in a one-year cardiology course for ICU nurses. At present attending bachelor educational program in nursing and medical sciences at the 3rd faculty of the Charles University in Prague.

Stanislava Králová
National Coordinator for Organ & Tissue Transplantations
In 1997 finished studies at Secondary Medical School, specialized in general nursing. Practical skills gained at Intensive Care Units at IKEM Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague in the years 1997 through 2002. From April 2002 worked at the ICU of the Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion in Prague, in December 2002 moved to the Anestesiology Ward of the xxx in General Faculty Hospital in Prague. Her skills and experience have been broadened by ARIP specialized course (2003 to 2005). With KST since July 2008.

Marie Trnková
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Secondary medical studies in general nursing completed in 1988, followed by secondary medical studies in midwifery - obstetrics which was completed in 1990. Practical nursing skills gained at the Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Londynska, Prague 2, till 1995. In 1995 thru 1999 on maternity leave. 1999 thru 2004 employed at the ICU ward at the Motol Faculty Hospital, Prague. Assistant at a real estate agency between 2004 and 2006. In 2006 employed by a private gynaecology outpatients clinic in Prague. At present studying for bachelor in nursing at the St. Elisabeth`s University of Health and Social Work in Pribram, CZ. Employed with KST since November 2009.

Bc. Jana Kopečná
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Jana gratuated at Secondary medical school in 1997. Her first employment as a nurse was at the Dept. of Urology of the Hospital/Policlinic of Novy Jicin. Between 1999 to 2007 working at the Intensive Care Unit (Coronary units) of the Clinic of Cardiology at IKEM Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague. Her practical skills and experience have been widened by studying of ARIP specialty (2001 – 2003), as well as by bachelor´s degree in general nursing care obtained in the 3rd Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague (2006). She is the main contact person for Transplantation Centre in Plzen. Employed with KST since March 2007.

Libuše Hrodková
Medical Records Administrator
Finished Comprehensive Secondary School in 1971, continued in studies at Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Prague. Since 1973 working as conservator and taxidermist in the State Jewish Museum in Prague. Having returned from her maternity leave employed as an assistent in bibliography in the Czech State Klementinum Library. Medical experience gained in the position of medical theaters sanitary staff in the Antal Stasek Public Health Clinic and in the IKEM Clinic Prague. With KST since 2008.

Michaela Vrbová, DiS.
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Finished Secondary Medical School in 1997, graduated in Nursing High School in 2000, and passed a modular course in effective management of nursing in 2004. Professional training at the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Dept. in the IKEM Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague. Apart from coordinations, her responsibility is to run waiting lists for kidneys and other organs. She is the main contact person for Transplantation Centres in Motol and Hradec Kralove. Working for KST since 2004.

Romana Tichavská
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Romana finished her secondary medical studies in 2005. She started working in the Surgical ICU in the Hospital of Kyjov, in 2002 thru 2004 she continued at the ICU of the Clinic of Transplantation Surgery in the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) in Prague, and since March 2004 at the ICU of the Surgical Clinic of the 2nd Medical Faculty of the Charles University in the General Military Hospital in Prague. She has been an active participant in specialized conferences and seminars at both national and international levels. In 2003 she improved her practical skills with ARIP studies. With KST since November 2007.

Petra Novotná, Dis.
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Secondary education completed at the Secondary Medical School in Mlada Boleslav in 2003, specialized in general nursing. Her studies then continued in the Nursing High School in Plzen (Pilsen) where she graduated in 2006 as a licensed emergency paramedic. Her professional career started at Sucklings´ Dept. in the Motol Faculty Hospital in Prague, continued in Pediatrics Clinic at Brandys nad Labem, and in Children´s ICU in the General Faculty Hospital in Prague. In order to improve her knowledge she temporarily worked in Saudi Arabia at ICU in the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center, Dept. of Children´s Cardiology. With KST since October 2007.

Petra Marhounová, Mgr.

In 1996 finished Nursing College in Tabor. In 1997 finished studies in Nursing High School, specialized in intensive care nursing. Bachelor of Nursing, Palacky University, Olomouc finished in 2000. In 2005 graduated in her magisterial studies of health management in Olomouc. Professional experience at Emergency Dept. and as a head nurse of the Clinic of Haematooncology in the Bohunice Hospital in Brno. Apart from coordinations, she is also responsible for preparing KST website and publications and lect ures. She is the main contact person for Transplantation Centre in CKTCH Brno. Working for KST since 2004.

Jana Dědičová, Bc.
National Coordinator for Organ and Tissue Transplantations
Finished Secondary Medical School in 1994, specialized in general nursing. In 2002 graduated at the Faculty of Natural and Social Sciences of the Presov University. Professional experience gained in the 2nd and 3rd Clinic of Internal Medicine and the Clinic of Cardiology of the General Faculty Hospital in Prague, as well as in the in Emergency Dept. of the Presov Hospital. Passed speciallized courses in cardiology for intensive care nurses and in specialized communication. Apart from coordinations, she is also responsible for preparing statistical data on procurement and transplantations, as well as for publishing updated balance sheet in KST´s website. She is the main contact person for Transplantation Centre in Plzen. Working for KST since 2004.
